EXHIBIT A City/School District Facilities Amador Theater The School District receives 60 days of no-cost use of the Theater each year. District events at the Theater are scheduled, coordinated and technically staffed by City employees. Joint-Use Gyms The City and School District participated in the planning, design and construction of joint- use gyms at Pleasanton, Hart and Harvest Park Middle Schools. The School District uses the gyms during the school day, and the City programs recreational uses after hours and on the weekends. The City has a contract with PUSD for its share of maintenance, janitorial and PG&E services. Donlon Field The City and the School District recently renovated the playing fields at Donlon School. The school uses the fields during the school day, and they are available for community recreational and youth league use after hours. Pleasanton Middle School Tennis Courts The City recently resurfaced two tennis courts at Pleasanton Middle School and installed lights for evening use. The school uses the courts during the school day, and they are available for community recreational use after hours. Joint-use Parks/School Sites The City and School District have agreements regarding the following park/school sites: Amaral Park/Mohr Elementary School, Fairlands Park, Hansen Park, Mission Hills Park, and Walnut Grove Park. School Facility Rentals The City coordinates the community recreation and youth league use of all school athletic facilities for the School District. Programs/Services After School Recreation Program At the District's request, the City began an after-school recreation program at Donlon, Fairlands and Hearst Elementary Schools from 3:00-6:00 p.m. on days that school is in session. Middle School Dances The City offers three dances each year at Hart Middle School's Multi-purpose Room. Page 3 of 8
