AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br /> BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AND <br /> DE LEUW, CATHER & COMPANY <br /> FOR <br />PROPOSED BERNAL AVENUE, DEL VALLE PARKWAY AND <br /> SOUTH VERONA ROAD RAILROAD GRADE SEPARATIONS <br /> <br />PARTIES: <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is entered into this 10th day of July, <br />1984, between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a Municipal Corporation <br />in the State of California, hereinafter called "City," and <br />DE LEUW, CATHER & COMPANY, an Illinois corporation having a <br />place of business at 120 Howard Street, San Francisco <br />hereinafter called "Engineer." <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, final design plans, specifications, and cost <br />estimates for the Proposed Bernal Avenue, Del Valle Parkway, <br />and South Verona Road Railroad Grade Separations under the <br />tracks of the Union Pacific Railroad (formerly Western <br />Pacific Railroad) in Pleasanton and in an unincorporated <br />area of Alameda County (herein called "Project") have now <br />been completed, City has received allocations of monies from <br />the California Railroad Grade Separation Fund, and construction <br />is planned to begin in the Summer of 1984; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City desires to retain enqineer to provide supplementary <br />construction services, and Engineer is qualified and licensed to <br />perform the professional eneineering services required under the <br />terms of this agreement; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the parties do agree as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
