EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />Collective agrees to diligently and faithfully furnish services to the City of Pleasanton, <br />commencing February Ol, 2009 and terminating on December 3l, 201 1. Said services to <br />be as follows: <br />I'o provide, select, train, and schedule umpires for adult softball games, <br />leagues, and tournaments in accordance with game and tournament schedules <br />determined by the Pleasanton Parks and Community Services Department. <br />2. All umpire comment forms shall be handled in a professional and timely <br />manner by an appointed member of the Collective. After review, the <br />appointed member or a board member must report to the League Director <br />regarding any proposed course of action. City staff is not satisfied with the <br />performance of an official, or the way the official conducts him herself in the <br />official's interaction with City staff, coaches, players or fans, City may <br />request that the official no longer officiate City sponsored softball games. <br />Collective will honor that request absent compelling reasons to do otherwise. <br />3. The Fieldhouse Meeting Room at Sports Park will be made available on a <br />reservation basis only through the standard booking procedures of the Parks <br />and Community Services Department The exception to this condition will be <br />scheduled tournament play, when the facility will be utilized as the umpires <br />dressing room/break area. <br />The umpires/contractors assigned by the Collective, in conduct of the services <br />contemplated hereunder, shall abide by all rules and regulations of the City's Parks and <br />Community Services Department. <br />
