ATTACHMENT3 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br />CHANGING THE NAME OF FABIAN COURT TO WORKDAY WAY <br />WHEREAS, Workday Inc. has requested the City to consider renaming Fabian Court to <br />Workday Way; and <br />WHEREAS, Workday Inc. will reimburse all costs for the purchase and installation of <br />replacement signage; and <br />WHEREAS, none of the businesses or properties that adjoin Fabian Court have Fabian <br />Court Street addresses and no direct impacts to the local businesses and properties were <br />identified by staff; and <br />WHEREAS, Fabian Court is not on the City's Heritage Street Name list; and <br />WHEREAS, local businesses and property owners received notices requesting <br />comments on the proposed name change; and <br />WHEREAS, staff did not receive comments from local businesses and property owners <br />on the proposed name change. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1. Council approves changing the name of Fabian Court to Workday Way. <br />SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br />the book of original resolutions. <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on March 17, 2009. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 17T" day of 2009, <br />by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Noes: <br />Absent: <br />Abstain: <br />Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Michael H.
