Street name change requests are typically handled on a case by case basis. Prior to approving street name changes, staff investigates potential impacts to affected businesses and property owners. While there are a number of businesses and properties directly served by Fabian Court, staff could not find any directly served with a Fabian Court address. Fabian Court is also not on the City's Heritage Street Name list (a list that identifies and protects historically significant streets in Pleasanton). At this time staff is moving forward with the name change request and plans to introduce a resolution adopting the change at the March 17, 2009 City Council meeting.
