2.2 Community Meeting #2 MIG will facilitate a community meeting which emphasizes City and Committee leadership in presenting results to date and small group activities for collecting input on the framework. The results of the environmental scan will be presented as a framing point, and the community will get to weigh in on all aspects of the framework. Deliverable: Memorandum summarizing key findings and recommendations Estimated timeframe: March/April 2010 PHASE 3: Draft Youth Master Plan Development 3.1 Meeting #3 with Staff and Ad Hoc Committee for Development of Outline and Key Content Items for Plan Given the level of Committee involvement in this process, it is likely the City and Ad Hoc Committee members will want to draft the actual plan. Based on the previous tasks and the input received from the City and Committee, MIG will work with the text developed by the City and Committee to prepare a Draft Youth Master Plan for review by City staff and the Committees. The draft will be formatted as a clear, and readable, and suitable for public distribution. A data file will be provided to City staff for printing and distribution of the document to City staff, Committee members, and others as needed. City staff will collect all proposed revisions and provide MIG with one set of revisions. The City will host a public review for the document during this timeframe. These comments will be included in the feedback and requested revisions sent to MIG. Estimated timeframe: April/May2010 3.2 MIG Guidance on Plan Drafting by City Staff MIG will provide guidance and consultation to help the City complete the final plan. MIG assistance will be in the form of review and comment, guidance on how to frame edits and re-writes, and other tasks that will help the City create a final plan.
