SECTION 6. GRANTEE'S COST <br /> <br /> Subject to the limitations set forth in Seet.~.on 4, the Grantee agrees <br />to fund any and all Project costs exceeding the Contract Commitment (Section <br /> <br />SECTION 7. PAYMEntS TO THE GRANTEE <br /> <br /> P~yment will be made in arrears to the Grantee by the State for actual <br />costs of W~ter Audit and Leak Detection subject to the standard contract <br />conditions set forth in "Fxhibit A". Request for grant payment shall conform <br />to the instructions set forth in "Exhibit E". <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />Upon approval by the State Program Manager of a completed Water Audit <br />Report, an amount will be paid equal to the expanded Eligible Project <br />Cost of the Water Audit but not to exceed the amount for the Water <br />Audit designated in Section 5 of this Contract. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Upon approval by the State Program Mmager of a completed Final Report <br />of Leak Detection and Repair, an amount will be paid equal to the <br />expanded Eligible Project Costs for the Leak Detection survey, but not <br />to exceed the amount for Leak Detection designated in Section 5 of <br />this Contract. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />By exception, if the Grantee can demonstrate financial hardship and a <br />significant need for interim payment, an amount up to 90 percent of <br />expanded Eligible Project Costs my be requested for reimbursement <br />following the "Progress Report on Leak Detection and Repair". The <br />reimbursable amount shall not exceed the amount for leak detection <br />designated in Section 5 of this Contract. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. TIMING AND MANNER OF PROJECT <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />This Contract shall take effect upon July 15, 1984, subject to <br />approval of the Contract by the State Department of General <br />Services, and shall remain in effect until its termination as <br />specified in subsection (f). In no event shall the Contract take <br />effect before approval by General Services as required by <br />D.A.M. Section 6022. <br /> <br />(b) Project S~2rt Date <br /> <br />This Project shall begin in~nediately following the effective <br />date of this Contract. <br /> <br />7 Contract B-550~ <br /> <br /> <br />
