assistance shall include, but not be limited to, the following: <br /> <br /> (a) Act as professional planning staff, under the <br />direction of the General Plan Coordinator, in undertaking the <br />work program required to ~roduce a Circulation Element which <br />meets all of the provisions outlined in the California General <br />Plan Guidelines. Tasks to be performed by the Consultant include, <br />but are not limited to, the following: <br /> <br />Task 1: Develop peak hour traffic volumes (AM and PM), Average <br /> Daily Traffic (ADT) counts and recommended lane <br /> requirements for all freeways, arterials and major <br /> roadways within the Pleasanton Planning Area. <br /> Roadway Levels of Service (LOS) will be provided <br /> for all significant intersections within the Planning <br /> Area. All traffic information will be suitable to <br /> meet the requirements of the City's Noise and Air <br /> Quality consultants and be prepared for the time <br /> periods 1984, 2010 and General Plan Buildout. Con- <br /> sultant may utilize existing data generated from the <br /> North Pleasanton Improvement District Environmental <br /> Impact Report (NPID EIR) and other traffic studies, <br /> provided that it conforms with California General <br /> Plan Guidelines. For those roadways and intersections <br /> within the Planning Area for which adequate information <br /> does not exist, Consultant will undertake whatever <br /> traffic counts and projections are necessary to develop <br /> the above-described information. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
