CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> <br />June, 1984, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br />corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and DONALD <br />BALLANTI, 1424 Scott Street, E1 Cerrito, California 94530 (here- <br />inafter referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> ~{EREAS, Consultant has served as the air quality consultant <br />for the North Pleasanton Improvement District Environmental <br />Impact Report (NPID EIR); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires to utilize the time and expertise <br />of an air quality consultant to assist the City in preparing an <br /> <br />Air Quality Element of the General Plan due to the time constraints <br />of the City's planning staff; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Consultant possesses the necessary expertise, <br />and will make the commitment necessary to complete an Air Quality <br /> <br />Element of the General Plan in accordance with the City's wishes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> 1. Employment of Consultant. City agrees to employ <br /> Consultant and Consultant agrees to perform the professional <br /> air quality services for City in accordance with the ~rovisions <br /> hereinafter contained in this agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall dili%ently <br /> <br />and expeditiously provide professional air quality planning assist- <br />ance to the City as necessary to complete an Air Duality Element <br /> <br /> <br />
