maps, and reports prepared by Consultant under this agreement, <br />shall be considered the property of the City and shall be turned <br />over to the City at the completion of the services to be ~erformed. <br /> <br /> 5. City Furnished Items. City shall furnish as requested <br />by Consultant all pertinent information, documents, data, studies, <br />surveys, maps, and reports which it may have. <br /> <br /> 6. Payment. For the services to be rendered hereunder, <br />City shall pay Consultant the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars <br />($10,000.00). Consultant shall bill the City by invoice for work <br />actually performed no more frequently than monthly, and City shall <br />pay Consultant within ten (10) days of submittal of his invoice. <br />Ten percent (10%) of the contract amount will be withheld pending <br />satisfactory completion of the Noise Element. <br /> <br /> 7o Term. The term of this agreement shall begin on <br /> <br />July 1, 1984, and end upon completion of the Consultant's Services <br />described in Section 2 of this agreement. <br /> <br /> 8. Availability of Service. It is understood and agreed <br /> <br />by Consultant that during the term of this agreement Consultant <br />shall be available as needed to perform the services described <br />herein. <br /> <br /> 9. Termination for Convenience of City. City may terminate <br />this agreement at any time by mailing a notice in writing to <br />Consultant that the aEreement is terminated. No further work <br />shall be ~erformed by Consultant upon receipt of the notice of <br />termination. The agreement shall be deemed terminated u~on <br />receipt Of the notice by Consultant or two (2) days following the <br />mailing of said notice, whichever is earlier.
