CONSULTANT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> <br />June, 1984, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br />corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and CHARLES Mo <br />SALTER ASSOCIATES, INC., 930 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, <br />California 94133 (hereinafter referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant has served as the acoustical consultant <br />for the North Pleasanton Improvement District Environmental <br />Impact Report (NPID EIR); and <br /> <br /> ~tEREAS, the City desires to utilize the time and expertise <br />of an acoustical consultant to assist the City in preparing a <br />Noise Element as part of the General Plan update; and <br /> <br /> ~IEREAS, the Consultant possesses the necessary expertise <br />and will make the commitment necessary to comDlete the Noise <br /> <br />Element of the General Plan in accordance with the City's wishes; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, City and Consultant agree as follows: <br /> 1. Employment of Consultant. City agrees to employ <br /> Consultant and Consultant agrees to Derform the professional <br /> acoustical services for City in accordance with the provisions <br /> hereinafter contained in this agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />and expeditiously provide professional assistance to the City <br /> <br /> <br />
