Stonerid a Drive was built knowing that
the road would someday go through to Livermore. A road that was built and maintained by the city
for the city - with sound walls, burns, and four -lanes to benefit the homeowners who lire there. All
who knew when they purchased than the road would go through someday. It does not male any
sense to male one snarl neighborhood happy while the majority of Pleasanton residents and workers
suffer. It is GOOD for overall city of Pleasanton.
We must noire forward with the SDE and be fiscally responsible by NOT delaying the build out,
especially since it is latterly supported by Alameda County and Supervisor Haggerty.
SDE will benefit Pleasanton residents by improving air quality, child safety for those who walk to
school.
SDE will not become a freeway. That's a the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard ... and most likely said by an
uneducated person. The FACTS show that the worst case scenario shovers that only 1000 /hour would bypass the
freeway for SDE. This is minimal compared to the traffic levels on our current four lane arteries; such as,
29
