We are aware of the economic impact on the city at this time. We support the Stoneridge extension and would like Pleasanton to take Scott Haggerty up on his offer to fund this buildout in concert with the Staples Ranch h project and pay for the road. In today's economic times it seems irresponsible to turn down an offer to fully fund this road when someone else is willing to pay and when this road has been part of the plan for many years and is desperately needed. As we build Staples, we need to make it easy for all Pleasanton residents to get to the new park and the shopping area to support businesses and increase the tax base. This extension will offer relief for the many Pleasanton residents who commute throughout the Valley. This impacts thousands of our workers and residents each commute hour. This offers an additional circulation route that is critically needed as we approach buildout. Thank you for your consideration of this message.
