Stoneridge Drive was to be included on the agenda along with the certification of the Staples Punch
Environmentairimpa t Report. I've known about this for at least two weeks as probably the 95 others who were
seated iii council chambers last night, so I find the argument to be unsubstantiated. He clearly has ulterior
motives. What does he expect will happen in the next 3 weeks? Citizens will protest the natural extension of a
major Drive in our city, so we can access a new facility that will expand our fair city and provide value to all?
We are all absolutely convinced the ice rinks at Staples Punch will add tremendous value to the sports, recreation
and business opportunities for all Pleasanton residents and businesses. The citizens of Pleasanton are aware
and have indicated their support for years now. We all want to see this happen now!
Moreover, the San Jose Sharks organization has a proven track record of operating attractive, clean, and family
oriented rinks around the Bay area. Pleasanton is in good hands partnering with the Sharks.
Please approve the agreement and prevent any further delays, so we can build a new sports and recreation
venue for all Pleasanton residents. I would hate to relocate to another city, but this type of politics and lack of
action could certainly lead to that as a conclusion. And I aryl not alone.
Warmest Regards,
Pierre -Paul and Lucie Allard
3018 West Ruby Hill Drive
Pleasanton, CA
94566
Pierre -Paul Allard Cisco Systems, Inc.
Senior Vice- president 170 West Tasman Drier,
San Jose, CA 95134-1706
USA
This e-mail may contain confidential and privileged material for the sole use of the intended recipient.
