two projects, it was determined that both cost and construction efficiencies would be <br />realized if this work was performed by the private developer. The City's pro-rata share <br />for these improvements totaled $308,656 and included construction of the entry drive <br />and bus pull-out/deceleration lane along Foothill Road, the grading and paving of the <br />parking lot on the south end of the park site and associated landscape and irrigation <br />improvements. <br />The project contingency was sufficient to cover all of these additional costs; therefore, <br />the project was completed on time and within the approved budget.
