THE CITY OF <br />~. ~ n ~ :i~~~ 1 of <br />~L~~S~NTONe <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />February 17, 2008 <br />City Manager <br />TITLE: ANALYSIS OF COMMISSIONER ABSENCES FOR THE PERIOD <br />OF JULY 1 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2008 <br />SUMMARY <br />The Municipal Code establishes attendance requirements for City commissioners at <br />regularly held commission meetings. Under the attendance reporting process, the City <br />Manager is required to request that all commissioners whose absences exceed those <br />as set forth in the Municipal Code provide a written response for Council's review <br />detailing the reasons for their absences. This report is being submitted in accordance <br />with the required procedures. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the City Council accept the information provided. <br />2 <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no fiscal impact. <br />
