planning services for City in accordance with the provisions <br />hereinafter contained in this agreement. <br /> <br /> 2. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br /> <br />and expeditiously provide professional planning assistance to <br />the City as necessary to complete a General Plan update, including <br />a complete review and revision, as necessary, of the City's <br />General Plan. Professional planning assistance shall include, <br />but not be limited to, the following: .. <br /> <br /> (a) Act.as Drofessional planning staff, under the <br /> direction of the Director' of Planning and Community Devel- <br /> opment, in undertaking the work program required to accomplish <br /> the General Plan update, from its beginning through adoption <br /> and preparation of final documents. Tasks to be performed <br /> by the Consultant ihclude, but are not limited to, the <br /> <br />following: <br /> <br /> Task 1: <br /> <br />Consolidate existing General Plan <br /> <br /> Policies, Issues and Data into an <br /> <br />Task 2: <br /> <br />Task 3: <br /> <br />"as is" General Plan. <br /> <br />Develop a current data base and pro.~ections <br /> <br />.for future development alternatives <br /> <br />w'ithin the Pleasanton Planning Area <br /> <br />for all relevant plannin~ parameters, <br /> <br />including input from other city consultants <br />working in specialized fields(traffic, <br />noise, air quality, geology, etc.). <br /> <br />Provide input to, assist, coordinate, and <br />review the work of other city staff and/or <br />consultants, including but not necessarily. <br /> <br />-2-' <br /> <br /> <br />
