REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this /~'!day <br />of ~r:f , 1984, by and between THE PRUDENTIAL <br />INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA, a New Jersey corporation, <br />("Prudential") and THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br />corporation, (the "City"). <br /> <br /> RECITALS <br /> <br /> A. Due to significant proposed industrial/commercial <br />growth requiring major roadway improvements in the North <br />Pleasanton area, City has begun formal assessment district <br />proceedings for a proposed roadway improvements program <br />entitled "North Pleasanton Improvement District, Project AD <br />1982-4," including within the proposed boundaries lands of <br />Prudential proposed for industrial park development (portions <br />of Hacienda Business Park). <br /> <br /> B. Certain roadway improvements at the intersection <br /> <br />of Pimlico Drive and Santa Rita Road have been approved by <br />the City, and Prudential has agreed to construct these <br />improvements in advance of the formation of the North Pleasanton <br />Assessment District (the Pimlico Drive portion of the Street <br />Improvements Agreement - Santa Rita Road, dated May 16, 1983). <br />Said construction is required as soon as practical in order <br />to minimize congestion at the Santa Rita Road-Pimlico Drive <br />intersection and to minimize disruption of Santa Rita Road <br />traffic by timing said construction with the Santa Rita Road <br /> <br /> <br />
