CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-151 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A WORK PROGRAM FOR CONDUCTING <br />A GENERAL PLAN UPDATE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 27, 1984, the City Council <br />received the staff report of the Director of Planning <br />and Community Development outlining in detail the <br />proposed work program for an update of the entire <br />General Plan as recommended by the Industrial General <br />Plan Committee; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />after a review of the report and testimony, Council <br />deemed it appropriate to proceed as recommended; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br /> Council approves an allocation of $149,150 to be <br />included in the Fiscal Year 1984-85 budget for a <br />General Plan update. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes staff to negotiate and enter into a contract <br /> with Chandler Lee to perform the services outlined in <br /> the work program as shown in Staff Report 84:144 and to <br /> include the provision of office space in City Hall for <br /> the General Plan update. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> Approves the proposed schedule of tasks shown in <br />Staff Report 84:144, a copy of which is attached hereto <br />and incorporated herein by this reference, including <br />tentative dates for Council review and public meetings. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective iFmediately <br /> UPOn its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 27, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Wood and Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ROBERT E.
