II. SCHEDULE OF POSSIBLE COUNCIL ACTION ON COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />A. Actions already taken by the Council - February ~8, 1984- <br /> <br />D-2: Maximum LOS D on all roadways <br /> <br />Action 3a, b, c, d - Include maximum levels of service (LOS) in <br />all industrial PUD ordinances <br /> <br />City Council has amended the PUD ordinances for Hacienda, Meyer and <br />Stoneson to include the committee's language and will review the Reynolds <br />and Brown ordinance within the next few months. <br /> <br />D-8: Extension of Valley Avenue to Stanley Boulevard <br /> <br />Action i - Commence final planning of the Valley Avenue extension <br />and review with the state P.U.C. and railroads. <br /> <br />City staff has submitted engineering plans to the P.U.C., who will <br />refer them to the railroads and back to the City in about three months. <br /> <br />D~14: BART extension following 1-580 alignment <br /> <br />Actions 1, 2, & 3 - Notify BART of the City's preference for the <br />1-580 alignment and ensure BART track and station requirements <br />are included in future development plans. <br /> <br />City Council has met with Dublin and Livermore officials to negotiate <br />a mutually acceptable route which has been submitted to BART. The <br />1-580 alignment is currently shown on the General Plan map and is being <br />included in negotiations with North Pleasanton landowners. <br /> <br />D-17: Additional access to east end of Sports Park <br /> <br />Action la, b, c, d - Conduct a study of alternate routes to the <br />east end of Sports Park. <br /> <br />City has commissioned a study by Wilbur Smith and Associates which <br />was completed in February 1984. The study recommendations have been pre- <br />sented but not yet acted on by the Council. <br /> <br />E-4: Hazardous materials storage <br /> <br />Actions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5: Adopt a hazardous materials storage permit <br />ordinance including a hazardous identification system, toxicity <br />levels and minimum standards for storage of materials by type. <br /> <br />City Council has adopted the ordinance-proposed by the City Fire Chief <br />which contains the provisions requested by the committee. <br /> <br />E-6: Sewage treatment capacity <br /> <br />Actions 2 & 3 - Study sewage treatment alternatives and recommend <br />only those alternatives which do not present environmental or health <br />hazards. <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br /> <br />
