long-term agricultural productivity of the contracted parcel or other agricultural lands
subject to a Williamson Act contract. Any such lands will remain under contract and
used for agricultural purposes. The lot line adjustment is unlikely to result in the
removal of adjacent land from agricultural use because any such land is already
restricted to agricultural uses by contract, easement or applicable zoning.
Finally, the lot line adjustment does not result in a greater number of developable
parcels than existed prior to the adjustment; it merely swaps approximately 0.1-acres of
land between two existing parcels. Accordingly, staff recommends Council adopt the
attached resolution rescinding the existing Land Conservation Contract and authorizing
the City Manager to immediately sign the attached new Land Conservation Contract.
The resolution and the new Contract will be recorded with the recording of the lot line
adjustment.
Submitted by:
~'VI rC~a,~ /~
Michael Roush
City Attorney
Attachments:
1.
