Primary Purpose: Tri-Valley Martial Arts Academ~/s main purpose is to teach and instill in its students the techniques, value and philosophy of the martial arts. Through our programs we build self-esteem and self-confidence and reinforce discipline and respect. We mold our students into leaders that become positive influences and pillars in the community. a. STATE LICENSED CHILDCARE FACILITY: Our children's program is an after school program and all day summer and winter recess camp for children with plenty of outdoor playtime included. This is an invaluable resource for working parents that want a program that is extraordinary for their children while they are working. Our innovative center is like a cross between Chuck E Cheese, a gymnastics academy and martial arts academy. We have an enormous amount of space inside our academy with tall ceilings that make it possible to have all the things children love to play on. We have ropes hanging from the ceiling that children can climb and swing on, we have indoor basketball hoops, a rock wall, a full size trampoline, tons of crash mats that they can fall and play on safely. And this is all over a large floor covered in high quality, thick martial arts mats. And then we have our video game area, our traditional game area with pinball and air hockey, jump ropes and hula hoops, our computer area and our library. This alone would keep a child busy and happy all day long. But then we add in classes in martial arts which include gymnastics. Ours is a place where a child can come after school and have tons of fun. In fact parents usually have to drag their children out of the academy at the end of the day. But the parents also know that our academy is safe and properly run because it is a licensed childcare regulated by the state. And they know besides the exciting activities that the children have they are learning valuable lessons from the martial arts such as self-confidence, self-control, self-respect and integrity that will carryon into their adult years and give them the success traits they need to excel in life.
