b) <br /> <br />All Erosion Control and Sedimentation Plans must be <br />approved by October 1 if work is to continue into or <br />to begin after October 15. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />Any project approved by the City after October 15 shall <br />have an approved Erosion Control and Sedimentation Plan <br />prior to commencement of work. <br /> <br />d) <br /> <br />Normal procedure is to submit Erosion and Sedimentation <br />~Control Plan when improvement plans are submitted for <br />approval. <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />All revisions updating Erosion and Sedimentation Control <br />Plan shall be submitted and approved by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />5-06 Inspection <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />The installation of erosion control measures is to be <br />supervised and inspected by a registered civil engineer, <br />registered soils engineer and/or geologist retained by <br />the developer or owner. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />The City Enaineer or authorized representative is to <br />monitor the erosion control measures during the rainy <br />season. <br /> <br />5-07 Security <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />The developer shall present to the City security to cover <br />100% of the estimated cost to install erosion control <br />improvements. Security to be approved by the City Attorney. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />The developer shall submit a refundable cash bond for <br />hazard and erosion control prior to approval of the <br />Erosion and Sedimentation Plan or Final Map. The amount <br />of this bond will be determined by the City Engineer <br />(approximately $190/lot or $2500 minimum). <br /> <br />5-08 Enforcement <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />The developer shall be responsible for submitting a <br />monthly progress and inspection report to the City <br />Engineer. This report is to be submitted the first day <br />of the month during the rainy season and shall be signed <br />by the registered engineers and geologists involved. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Any work being done during the rainy season not in <br />compliance with the erosion control plan is subject <br />~b a stop work order. Continued work without compliance <br />will result in the City using the cash hazard"bond and/or <br />portions of 100% security to install the necessary <br />erosion control measures and pay for any required <br />cleanup. <br /> <br />5.3 <br /> <br /> <br />
