(g) The Association is a qualified organization to <br />establish, promote and conduct the programs of the District and <br />has agreed to do so upon the terms and conditions as hereinafter <br />set forth. <br /> <br /> (h) The City Council of City has determined that the <br />0ublic interest, convenience and necessitv require the execution <br />of this Agreement to provide for the services of Association as <br />hereinafter set forth. <br /> <br /> (2) TERM. The effective date of this Agreement shall <br />commence on January 24, 1984 and the Agreement shall continue <br />until terminated by either party as provided herein. <br /> <br /> (a) That Association may terminate this Agreement <br /> <br />by giving City sixty (60) days' notice of i. ntent to so terminate. <br />The termination shall be effective on the 61st day after the <br />mailing of such notice. <br /> <br /> (b) The City may terminate this Agreement by giving <br />the Association sixty (60) days' notice of intent to so terminate. <br />The termination shall be effective on the 61st day after the <br />mailing of such notice. <br /> <br /> (3) BUDGET. <br /> <br /> (a) Association shall submit to the City Manager' <br /> <br />in a form approved by the Manager, for consideration and <br />approval by the City Council, a proposed annual. budget by <br />the first day of Hay of each year. This budget shall estimate <br />the revenues and expenditu'~es for the fiscal year commencing <br />that July first. <br /> <br /> (b) No expenditure of funds received pursuant to <br /> <br />this Agreement shall be made unless budgeued as such. <br /> <br /> <br />
