5. County will send a return message via PIN to the City, confirming receipt <br /> of the notification and will indicate the expected date of delivery of the <br /> prisoner to the County. <br /> <br />6. Los Angeles County Sheriff's Transportation unit will only drop the <br /> prisoner off at the Courthouse Jail, Twelfth and Fallon Streets, Oakland, <br /> California. County will detain the prisoner in the holding cell of said <br /> Courthouse Jail and notify the City via PIN. City agrees to pick up all <br /> prisoners within three hours of notification. <br /> <br />7. The rate charged for said transportation services will be the rate charged <br /> the County of Alameda by the County of Los Angeles, plus a service charge <br /> of ~27.76 per transaction, which charge represents the approximate actual <br /> cost of the services to be provided by County hereunder. The service <br /> charge shall be determined and annually adjusted by the County. The <br /> County shall deliver to the City a monthly itemized invoice which covers <br /> such charges during the preceding month and the City shall pay the County <br /> of Alameda within thirty days after the date of invoice. <br /> <br />8. It is understood and agreed that the City shall fully indemnify, defend, <br /> and hold harmless the County, its officers, agents, and employees from any <br /> liability resulting from anything done or omitted to be done by the City <br /> or any officer, agent, or employee thereof under or in connection with any <br /> authority or jurisdiction delegated to City under this Agreement. <br /> <br />9. It is understood and agreed that the County shall fully indemnify, defend, <br /> and hold harmless the City, its officers, agents, and employees from any <br /> liability resulting from anything done or omitted to be done by the County <br /> or any officer, agent or employee thereof under or in connection with any <br /> authority or jurisdiction delegated to County under this Agreement. <br /> <br />10. This Agreement shall be effective on the date it is executed by the County <br /> and shall be in effect until June 30, 1985. The County or City may <br /> terminate this Agreement upon thirty (30) days' written notice to the <br /> other party. <br /> <br />11.
