CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 84-14 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION CERTIFYING REFERENDUM PETITION FOR CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON RESOLUTION NO. 83-501 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a petition with 3,050 signatures was submitted to <br /> the City Clerk on December 6, 1983 to referend <br /> Resolution No. 83-501; and <br /> <br /> I~EP~AS, the petition was forwarded to the Alameda County <br /> Registrar of Voters for verification of the signatures; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Registrar has reviewed the signatures and <br /> certified that sufficient qualified signatures <br /> were on the petition (see attached Exhibit "A"); <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Council hereby certifies that the required <br /> number of signatures have been received to referend <br />- Resolution No. 83-501. <br /> <br /> Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED JANUARY 9, 1984 BY THE FOLLOWING <br /> VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and <br /> Mayor Butler <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> ROBERT E.
