The proposed environmental site assessment
activities are needed to better define the extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil
and groundwater at the site, and are the next step in the process to proceed toward
site closure.
Kleinfelder is committed to providing quality service that reflects to our clients' wants,
needs, and desired level of risk. If a portion of .this proposal does not meet your
needs, or if your needs change, Kleinfelder stands ready to consider appropriate
modifications, subject to the standards of care to which we adhere as professionals.
Modifications such as changes in scope, methodology, scheduling, and contract
terms and conditions may result in changes to the risks assumed by the City, as well
as adjustments to our fees.
PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
Kleinfelder understands that gasoline and diesel underground storage tanks (USTsJ
were removed from the subject site in 1996. ACEH requested sampling and
analysis at the site to evaluate potential impact to soil and groundwater from
previous fuel releases in a letter to the City dated September 20, 2007.
