ATTACHMENT 1 <br />SECOND AMENDMENT <br />TO CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES: <br />Kleinfelder Incorporated. <br />This Second Amendment, dated December 16, 2008, amends the "Contract for Consultant <br />Services for "Soil and Groundwater Sampling, Fire Station #3'; (CM-07-063) entered into on June 20, <br />2007 between the CITY OF PLEASANTON and HIeinfelder Incorporated. <br />RECITALS <br />The parties desire to amend the Original Contract to provide additional environmental site <br />assessment at Fire Station #3. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in exchange for mutual consideration, the receipt and value of which is <br />hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: <br />1. The Scope of Work described in the Original Agreement shall be amended to include work as <br />described in Exhibit "A" attached which provides for additional environmental site <br />assessment. Services will include additional soil and goundwater sampling, as well as <br />laboratory analysis of samples at a cost not-to-exceed $35,000. <br />2.
