These improvements will be required at the time <br />Foothill Reservoir is placed in service in order to provide fire flows <br />at adequate pressure along Foothill Road from Foothill High School <br />southerly to Sunol Boulevard, and to maintain an appropriate volume of <br />water in Santa Ranch Reservoir for service to uphill lands along Santos <br />Ranch Road. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />In view of the need for water system improvements, CDM proposes to per- <br />form the following services: <br /> <br />Phase One - Analysis <br /> <br />Task 1 - Review previous CDM work in connection with the December <br /> 1981 report for the north central and north west portion <br /> of the Lower Pressure Zone. <br /> <br />Task 2 - Using current information, update the water demands used <br /> in connection with the December 1981 report for the Lower <br /> Pressure Zone. ' <br /> <br />"/ask 3 .- Develop two or more piping/booster pump/Santos Ranch <br /> reservoir schemes that could provide appropriate water <br /> service to the lands along Foothill Road. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Prepare data for computer input, and perform computer <br /> simulations of each of the schemes from 'Task 3. <br /> <br />Task 5 - Interpret the computer simulations. <br /> <br /> DEC 2 o J83 <br /> <br /> <br />
