MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />November 4, 2008 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Vice Mayor Thorne led in <br />the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Vice Mayor Thorne gave the following introductory comments: The Pleasanton Senior Players <br />annual comedy production, November 7 through Sunday, November 9; a Magical Holiday <br />Evening, November 21; Annual Hometown Holidays Celebration, December 6. He discussed <br />Marines returning home this month and said he would soon resume honoring them at a future <br />meeting. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br />Absent: None <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS: None <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Administrative Services <br />1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes of October 21, 2008 <br />Community Development <br />2. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />3. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Preannexation and Water and <br />Sewer Facilities and Service Agreement with Richard and Rhonda Hempy for property <br />located at 3568 Vine Street <br />4. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a Memorandum of Understanding <br />between the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County Congestion Management <br />Agency for the allocation and disbursement of $8 million in Tri-Valley Transportation <br />Council Development Fee Funds on the I-580 High Occupancy Vehicle Lane Project <br />5. Accepted public improvements for Tract 7431, Ironwood Development (Ponderosa <br />Homes) and authorized filing a notice of completion <br />Finance <br />6. Accepted the Monthly Disbursements and Investment Report for September 2008 <br />Police <br />7. Adopted Resolution No. 08-244 amending Resolution No. 08-231 concerning an <br />agreement with the California Highway Patrol for grant funds for police assistance within <br />the Tri-Valley Safety ChallengeMotion: It was m/s by Thorne/Sullivan to approve Consent <br />Calendar as submitted.
