She noted that the website information referenced the Tri-Valley <br />Martial Arts on January 20t", but it is not clear whether or not it was held at 1262 Quarry <br />Lane as there was no address or location specifically pointed out in that documentation. <br />She stated that the applicant can speak to this. <br />Commissioner Fox referred to the pictures of the bus on page 22a, stating a letterwas <br />sent to the applicant in Dublin stating that he needed to move anon-operational vehicle. <br />She noted that the response to that question indicates that January 24t" was when the <br />bus caught fire; however, the pictures actually taken of the bus afterthe fire has a <br />stamp of January 16, 2004. She inquired if the bus incident happened on the 16t" or on <br />the 24t" and if the City of Pleasanton received more details about it. <br />Ms. Amos replied that the Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Dublin did go out <br />there on January 2nd, prior to the bus being set on fire, and informed the applicant that <br />the bus needed to be moved. She stated that the City of Dublin indicated that the <br />applicant stated there was a transient living in the bus who was not a relation to <br />Mr. Pfund. She added that afterthe transientwas told he could not live in that bus, the <br />bus was set on fire on January 16t" <br />In response to Commissioner Fox's inquiry if the transient was living in the bus during <br />the day and nighttime, Ms. Amos replied that staff is unaware of when the transient was <br />living in the bus. Commissioner Fox inquired if this was the bus that transported <br />children to and from the school sites. Ms. Amos deferred to the applicant to respond to <br />this query. <br />Commissioner Narum noted references to Tri-Valley Martial Arts Academy (TVMAA) <br />and the A-Plus After School Program and inquired if these were one and the same <br />program or two different programs. She further asked if it was TVMAA that has applied <br />for a daycare license. Ms. Amos replied that Tri-Valley Martial Arts Academy (TVMAA) <br />is the business and that A-Plus After School Program is a program within that business. <br />She confirmed that TVMAA was applying for the daycare license. <br />Commissioner Narum referred to the daycare license and said that she saw a condition <br />stating that the business license and daycare license must be obtained within one year <br />of approval. She inquired if this was correct, and Ms. Amos confirmed that it was. <br />Commissioner Narum inquired if, in order to obtain the initial daycare license, the <br />background check would have to be completed and deemed satisfactory.
