Resolution No. 85-568 <br />Page Two <br /> <br /> e. The City Attorney may prepare an impartial analysis <br /> of the measure showing the effect of the measure on <br /> the existing law and the operation of the measure. <br /> The last day for submission of the impartial <br /> analysis shall be January 10, 1986. <br /> <br /> f. Mayor Brandes, after consultation with the Council <br /> shall designate five persons to draft and sign the <br /> proposed ballot arguments. <br /> <br />Section 4: Contract with Alameda County for Conduct of Special <br /> Election. <br /> <br /> a. The City Manager is hereby authorized to contract <br /> with the Alameda County Registrar of Voters for <br /> conduct of the special election. <br /> <br /> b. The City budget for FY 1985-86 is hereby amended to <br /> include $25,000 for conduct of this special <br /> election. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED DECEMBER 3, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood and Mayor <br /> Brandes <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />~er D.
