CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-539 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POLICY REGARDING TERMS AND <br /> FUNCTIONS OF ALTERNATE MEMBERS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a committee consisting of Jacquie Oliverius, Park and <br /> Recreation Commission; Jarrett Johnson, Human Services <br /> Commission; Dee Wilson, Planning Commission; and Karin <br /> Mohr was appointed to review the existing functions of <br /> commission alternates and make recommendations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 5, 1985, Council reviewed the <br /> report of the committee; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council hereby adopts the policies regarding <br /> the terms and functions of alternates on Boards and <br /> Commissions set forth in Councilmember Mohr's memorandum <br /> dated October 29, 1985, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED NOVEMBER 5, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None ~ ? <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ L4--'~ <br /> KENNETH R.
