PROGRAM MONITORING <br /> <br />An employer may choose to conduct some independent monitoring during the year <br />in addition to responding to the required annual transportation survey. This <br />would be especially helpful if a representative return on the survey was not <br />achieved. A reliable information base not 6nly allows the employer to <br />effectively demonstrate actual commute vehicle reductions, but provides a good <br />basis for planning the annual TSM Program/ <br /> <br />The following list of monitoring procedures are offered as suggested measures <br />which may be employed. For additional information and guidance, please refer <br />to the Task Force report entitled "Transportation Monitoring Procedures for <br />Employers".
