City of Pleasanton <br /> <br /> PORT <br /> <br /> HONORABLE CITY COUNCIL <br /> Pleasanton, California <br /> <br /> Environmental Monitoring Committee Recommendations: Staff <br /> Evaluation <br /> <br />Members of the Council: <br /> <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> <br />At the October 1, 1985 meeting of the City Council, the Citizen <br />Environmental Monitoring Committee presented its report and <br />recommendations to your Council. The report was the culmination <br />of a year's work of reviewing the conditions of approval for our <br />business parks and establishing programs for ensuring compliance <br />as requested by your Council. The report is attached for your <br />convenience. <br /> <br /> Your Council'accepted the report and referred it back to staff' <br /> for review and analysis. This report contains the staff's review <br /> and recommendations on the Committee's report. <br /> <br /> STAFF ANALYSIS <br /> <br />The Environmental Monitoring Committee made recommendations for <br />monitoring programs in Air Quality, Hazardous Materials, Water <br />Quality, Noise Quality and Traffic Quality as well as some <br />additional general recommendations. The sections that follow <br />briefly summarize the Environmental Monitoring Committee's <br />recommendations and analyze the effects of each recommendation on <br />the City.
