Presentation regarding extension of existing East Bay Regional Park District Bond <br />Ayn Wieskamp, Board President and John Escobar, the Assistant General Manager of <br />Operations, East Bay Regional Park District, gave a PowerPoint presentation regarding the <br />extension of an existing East Bay Regional Park District bond; Measure WW. Ms. Wieskamp <br />said the District encompasses 1,100 miles of trails, they receive 14 million visits annually, <br />discussed the successful outcome of the prior measure which included trail improvements, <br />sports fields, and recreation needs and the need to continue to further address connection of <br />trails. She discussed the variety of projects from project revenues which would be used for <br />Contra Costa and Alameda Counties, discussed urban creeks, their work on the extension of <br />Pleasanton Ridge Trail to Calaveras, the Dublin Regional Park connection, Vargas Plateau in <br />City Council Minutes 2 September 2, 2008 <br />
