Box 520 <br /> P1 easanton, CA 94566 <br /> <br /> Grey Eagle Pump Station <br /> <br /> Dear Bob: <br /> <br /> In reply to your request, we have prepared this proposal to perform <br /> services during construction of the Grey Eagle Pump Station. <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> CDM proposes to perform the following services: <br /> <br /> Task I - Shop Drawing Review <br /> <br /> Review and approve (or take other appropriate action) shop drawings <br /> and samples, the results of tests and inspections, and other data <br /> which the Contractor is required to submit, but only for conformance <br /> with the design concept of the project and compliance with the <br /> information given in the Contract Documents (but such review and <br /> approval or other action shall not extend to means, methods, <br /> sequences, techniques, or procedures of construction, or to safety <br /> precautions and programs incident thereto); determine the acceptabil i- <br /> ty of substitute materials and equipment proposed by the Contractor; <br /> and receive and reveiw (for general content as required by the Speci- <br /> fications) maintenance and operating instructions, schedules, <br /> guarantees, and certificates of inspection which are to be assembled <br /> by Contractor in accordance with the Contract Doc~ents. <br /> <br /> Task 2 - Assist with Change_ Orders <br /> <br /> Issue all instructions of the City to Contractor; issue necessary <br /> interpretations and clarifications of the Contract Documents and in <br /> connection therewith prepare change orders as required; act as initial <br /> interpretor of the requirements of the Contract Documents pertaining <br /> to the execution and progress of the work; but CDM shall not be liable <br /> for the results of any such interpretations or decisions rendered by <br /> him in good faith. <br /> <br /> EXHibit[ A <br /> <br /> <br />
