Affordable Housing -The TVTC recommended a new policy that will eliminate the regional fee for affordable housing units. The current TVTC guidelines treat affordable housing as amulti-family home and charge the Multi-Family Home fee rate. Other Rate -The TVTC recommended eliminating the cap on the "other" category. The "other" category is used to assign a fee to projects that do not fit into the 6 main categories. This category was capped by the TVTC to allow non "regional impact" type projects to receive relief from the regional fee. The "other" fee has not been used in this capacity and has resulted in a reduction in the total fee collected For comparison purposes, the table below shows the final TVTC rates compared to the City of Pleasanton rates.
