CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 85-392 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PG&E TO CONVERT CITY OWNED STREET <br /> LIGHTS TO HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM VAPOR LAMPS AND APPROVING <br /> THE AGREEMENT WITH PG&E <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, PG&E previously converted numerous city street lights to <br /> a more efficient high pressure sodium bulb and they are <br /> now ready to convert the remaining street lights; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 20, 1985, the City Council <br /> reviewed the report of the Acting Director of Public <br /> Works and Utilities recommending approval of this <br /> conversion; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Authorizes PG&E to convert the street lights listed <br /> in the staff report to high pressure sodium vapor. <br /> <br /> Section 2: Authorizes the Mayor to enter into an agreement with <br /> PG&E for the above services. <br /> <br /> Section 3: Approves the appropriation of the necessary funds for <br /> the conversion program. <br /> <br /> Section 4: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED AUGUST 20, 1985 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Mohr, Wood and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmembers Brandes ~~~4~ <br /> - and.
