MINUTES <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 16, 2008 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and Vice Mayor Thorne led <br />the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Introductory Remarks <br />Vice Mayor Thorne introduced Army Sergeant Jennifer Gomez who served in Iraq as a medic, <br />and Reagan Miller who works for the U.S. State Department and was assigned to Iraq. Adopted Resolution No. 08-236 supporting a community organization in Pleasanton to be <br />formed by Sentinels of Freedom <br />3. Approved a contract and authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement Economic <br />& Planning Systems in the amount of $23,000 for Market and Fiscal Impact Analyses for <br />the Pleasanton Gateway Business Park <br />4. Adopted Resolution No. 08-237 supporting East Bay Regional Park Districts Measure <br />WW, an extension of the Measure AA Bond for Regional Open Space, Wildlife, Shoreline <br />and Parks <br />5. Adopted Resolution No. 08-238 opposing State budget decisions to use local <br />government, redevelopment and transportation funds to finance State operations <br />Communitv Development <br />6. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />Parks and Communitv Services <br />Approved revised Pleasanton Paratransit Service and Livermore Amador Valley Transit <br />Authority Memorandum of Understanding for Paratransit Services <br />
