ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Cooper, Maas, and Roberts <br />NOES: Commissioner Sullivan and Chairperson Kumaran <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-98-78 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br />Commissioner Kumaran stated he is opposed to approving the building design prior to being advised of <br />the viewline. <br />d. Z-98-236. City of Pleasanton <br />Application for design review approval to remodel the existing building located at 200 Old Bernal <br />Avenue. Zoning for the property is P (Public and Institutional) District. <br />Continued to October 28, 1998. <br />e. RZ-98-07. Citv of Pleasanton <br />Application to amend the Municipal Code to reduce the required parking ratio for banks from <br />one space per every 150 square feet of gross floor area (1/150) to one space for every 300 square <br />feet of gross floor area (1/300). <br />Mr. Iserson referenced a staff report dated October 14, 1998 and highlighted key areas contained in the <br />report including background information, project description, analysis, and public notice. In conclusion, <br />Mr. Iserson stated that staff s recommendation is that the Commission recommend approval to the City <br />Council of Case RZ-98-07, as shown in Exhibit "A." <br />Discussion ensued between Commissioners and staff relating to customers having to park their <br />automobiles in order to use the Automated Teller Machines (ATM's), the reduced amount of time spent <br />using ATM's versus going into the bank, and which banks were used for the survey. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Maas, seconded by Commissioner Roberts, that the <br />Commission recommend approval to the City Council of Case RZ-98-07, as shown in Exhibit "A." <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Roberts, Sullivan and Chairperson Kumaran <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />Resolution No. PC-98-~9 was entered and approved as motioned. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 11 October 14, 1998 <br />
