THE CITY OF <br />~L~~S~4NTONm <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES <br />DRAFT <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Pleasanton, California <br />Wednesday, October 14, 1998 <br />7:00 p.m. <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />The Planning Commission meeting of October 14, 1998 was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Chairperson <br />Kumaran. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Staff Members Present: Jerry Iserson, Principal Planner; Roger Higdon, City Engineer; Larissa <br />Seto, Assistant City Attorney; and Deanne Helgesen, Recording <br />Secretary <br />Commissioners Present: Chairperson Kris Kumazan, and Commissioners Geoff Cooper, <br />Harvey Kameny, Trish Maas, Mary Roberts, and Matt Sullivan <br />Commissioners Absent: None <br />Chairperson Kumazan welcomed Harvey Kameny as anewly-appointed member of the Planning <br />Commission. <br />Further, Chairperson Kumazan announced that consideration of an ordinance to amend the Municipal <br />code relating to alternative counseling and consulting, formerly known as fortune telling and psychic <br />users, is scheduled for the October 28, 1998, Planning Commission meeting. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Commissioner Cooper requested that the following changes be made to the minutes of September 23, <br />1998: Page 8, second paragraph, be amended to read, "He stated that due to the minimal impact it will <br />have on traffic, the project should not be turned down." <br />PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES Page 1 October 14, 1998 <br />
