PUD-85-10-6M City of Pleasanton (for Hopyard Village Shoppine Center) <br />Application for a major modification to an approved Planned Unit Development (PUD) for <br />Hopyard Village Shopping Center, located at the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and Valley <br />Avenue, to consider amendments to the conditions of approval regarding uses, hours of parking <br />lot gate closure, parking lot lighting, landscaping, and lattice fence extensions for the 52-space <br />eastern parking lot and buildings located at 5725 and 5737 Valley Avenue. The proposed <br />amendments would implement the settlement agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the <br />property owner (Goble Properties). Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br />C-C (Central-Commercial) District. <br />Jerry Iserson presented the staff report and provided a history surrounding the application. He gave a <br />detailed description of the original and previously modified conditions of approval, noting the following <br />the modification, one of the previous property owners of the shopping center filed suit against the City. <br />Subsequently, a mediation process was pursued, and a settlement agreement was reached between the <br />City, the surrounding residential neighbors, and the new owners of the property in question. <br />Planning Commission Minutes Page 8 May 27, 1998 <br />
