2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Chair Cooper noted for the record that he was not present for the April 22, 1998 meeting and that <br />former Commissioner, Robert Wright, is not present at this meeting to comment on the Minutes. <br />Former Commissioner, Debra Barker, was in the audience and she and Commissioner Kumaran <br />advised Chair Cooper that they had no amendments to the April 22, 1998 Minutes. Therefore, the <br />Minutes of the Apri122, 1998 Meeting were approved as submitted. <br />Chair Cooper also noted for the record that the April 29, 1998 Minutes were provided to the <br />Commission today and that any amendments should be reported to Kathy Ferreira, pursuant to her <br />request. He also stated that he reviewed the Minutes and approves them as submitted. <br />3. MEETING OPEN FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE AUDIENCE TO ADDRESS THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON ANY ITEM WHICH IS NOT ALREADY ON THE <br />AGENDA <br />Former Planning Commission member, Debra Barker, welcomed the new Commissioners and stated <br />she feels confident they will do a good job. She also wished the Planning Commission good luck in <br />the future. <br />4. REVISIONS AND OMISSIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />_ Jerry Iserson stated that item 6.c., PUD-98-02. Albert William Esperson Company. Inc.; item 6.d., <br />PUD-85-10-6M. City of Pleasanton (Hopyard Village Shopping Center); and item 6.e., Vestine <br />Tentative Tract Map 7002. Trumark Commercial, have all been continued to the May 27, 1998 <br />meeting. <br />5. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br />There were none. <br />6. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />a. UP-98-11. Standard Pacific <br />Applicantion for a conditional use permit for an approximately 480 square foot attached <br />secondary unit located at 8046 Rockford Place and an approximately 530 square foot attached <br />secondary unit at 8062 Rockford Place. Zoning for the property is PUD-RDR/LDR (Rural <br />Density Residential/Low Density Residential) District. <br />Jerry Iserson presented the staff report. He reported that the application deals with secondary units in <br />two separate residences. He stated that since the applicant is the same builder and the two subject <br />homes are adjacent to one another, staff felt it was appropriate to combine the staff report and use the <br />same use permit number.
