comparison with the Stoneridge Specific Plan, but the rest of the area was left off for the future, and the <br />future is now. He stated that he believes there is room for a plan for the azea that looks at the major <br />unplanned portions. He noted that he does not see a point to re-plan azeas that have been planned, but he <br />does see room for improvement. He does not want to see anopen-ended process, but would like to see <br />the process done in a year. With regard to the committee make-up, Chair Cooper stated that there needs <br />to be neighborhood representation with involvement of the other stakeholders. He feels the gravel <br />companies need to be represented, as well as the major land owners, and while they should not be the <br />majority, they should get a vote. He reiterated that he would not support any motion to make a decision <br />on this item tonight. <br />Commissioner Wright asked if there was any possibility for members of the audience to review the <br />minutes before Commissioner Kumaran receives them, to assure that their statements are correct. Chair <br />Cooper suggested that a review of the minutes could take place at the next meeting prior to a decision on <br />this item. Commissioner Bazker suggested that the minutes be put on the Web. It was also noted that <br />the public could write letters that would be given to the Planning Commission as part of its packet. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Wright, seconded by Commissioner Barker, continuing this <br />item to the meeting of April 8, 1998. <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br />AYES: Commissioners Barker, Dove, and Wright, and Chair Cooper <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Kumazan <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />The motion carried. <br />4.
