<br /> <br />Management Authority, an agency created by a Joint Exercise of <br />Powers Agreement for Solid Waste Management on September Z, 1976, <br />the power, duty and responsibility to prepare, adopt, zevise, <br />amend, administer and enforce the Alameda County Solid Waste <br />Management Plari.• .On October Z7, 1987 the JPA was amended to' <br />. . <br />create, among other things, the Alameda County Waste Management <br />Authority (hereinafter "Autharity~'), which was empowered to engage <br />in ha2ardous waste planning as well as solid waste planning, ey <br />'its, signature on the October 27, 1987 Joint Powers Agreement for <br />Waste Management, Alameda County delegated the power; duty, acid <br />responsibility to prepare, adopt, revise, amend, administer and <br />enforce the Alameda County Solid Waste Management Pian. irk the <br />event that Government Coda section 66780 et seq. is re-enacted is <br />any manner, whether by enactment of additions to the Government . <br />Cade or other code or in uncodi£ied sections, by its signature <br />hereon, Alameda County Continues the delegation enumerated above in <br />regard 'to the Alameda County Solid Waste Management Plan. <br />3.
