o Conduct Farmland Impact Rating Analysis pursuant <br /> to the Farmland Protection Policy Act, Soil Con- <br /> servation Service Form 1006. <br /> <br /> o Evaluate the need to minimize erosion and differ- <br /> ential settlement during and after construction, <br /> and describe mitigation measures, as necessary. <br /> <br /> Biology/Endangered Species <br /> <br /> o Assemble existing data related to area biology and <br /> significant natural features from Alameda County, <br /> the EIRs for the NPID, various local projects, and <br /> other sources available. <br /> <br />o Describe existing habitats, if applicable. <br /> <br />o Discuss project impacts, if any, on the existing <br /> habitats. <br /> <br />o Assess the potential for presence of endangered <br /> plant and animal species based on existing data <br /> available at the City and resource agencies, and <br /> assess the potential for the presence of wetlands. <br /> This task includes consultation with the California <br /> Department of Fish and Game and U.S. Fish and <br /> Wildlife Service. <br /> <br />o Biological Assessment Procedures conforming to <br /> Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 <br /> and Wetlands Assessment required for Executive <br /> Order 11990 are not included in this task since <br /> endangered species and wetlands are not expected <br /> to be within the project area. <br /> <br />o Discuss potential construction and post construc- <br /> tion impacts of the freeway interchange improve- <br /> ments. In particular discuss impacts of landscap- <br /> ing expected to be added on the slopes adjacent to <br /> portions of the subject interchanges. <br /> <br />o Develop mitigation measures for biological issues, <br /> if needed. <br /> <br />Air Quality <br /> <br />o Assemble existing air quality and weather data <br /> from Earth Metrics air quality and meteorological <br /> monitoring programs within the NPID project area <br /> and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. <br /> <br /> <br />
