13. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, awarded and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute a construction contract to Valley Slurry Seal Company in the amount <br />of $157,394 for Slurry Sealing of Various City Streets, CIP NO. 075004 and authorized the <br />Director of Public Works to approve and execute contract change orders for a contingency <br />amount not to exceed $15,740 for necessary related project work. <br />14. Authorized the City Manager to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with <br />the Alameda County Congestion Management Agency (ACCMA) for replacement <br />landscaping as a result of the I-580 Eastbound HOV construction project <br />15. Accepted public improvements for Silver Oaks Estates, Tract 7399 (Berlogar Property) <br />and authorized filing a notice of completion <br />16. Approved demolition of the City structure located at 4254 Vervais and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute a maintenance and trade services agreement for the demolition of the <br />existing structure including site clean up and grading for an amount not to exceed $45,000 <br />17. Adopted Resolution 08-232 approving an application to lAFCO for annexation of 13.26 <br />acres to the City of Pleasanton and Adopted Resolution 08-233 agreeing to the exchange <br />of property tax revenue under the standard property tax exchange formula for Annexation <br />No. 152 (Martin Avenue Buffer Zone) <br />18. Approved consultant agreement and authorized the City Manager to execute a contract <br />with TJKM Transportation Consultants in the not-to-exceed amount of $151,860 to prepare <br />an update to the city traffic development impact fee report, CIP No. 085042 <br />19. Approved Preannexation Agreement and authorized the City Manager to execute <br />agreement between Guerra and the City of Pleasanton, authorized connection of the <br />Guerra parcel located 893 Sycamore Road to the City sanitary sewer and water systems <br />provided all connection work is done to the satisfaction of the City Engineer, all costs are <br />borne by the property owner and the proposed extension of City services is approved by <br />LAFCO; and authorized filing application with LAFCO for the extension of sewer and water <br />service to the parcel at 893 Sycamore Road (Guerra) <br />20. Accepted public improvements performed by JJR Construction Inc. for Annual Sidewalk <br />and Access Ramp Installation, CIP No. 075005 and authorized filing a notice of <br />completion. <br />21. Directed staff to amend the Reimbursement Agreement to increase the amount of the <br />Pleasanton portion for the project design cost to $322,962 for Final Design & Construction, <br />I-580 Fallon Road/EI Charro Road Interchange Modifications and authorized the City <br />Manager to execute the amendment <br />Motion: It was m/s by Cook-Kallio/McGovern to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted <br />and as noted.
