The property is bordered on the north by I-580, on the west by a four-story office <br />building, on the east by the Stoneridge Corporate Plaza office complex, and on the <br />south by Stoneridge Mall, on the opposite side of Stoneridge Mall Road. <br />2005 aerial photograph of the site and surrounding area <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br />The project consists of a series of related land use entitlements: general plan <br />amendment, PUD rezoning and development plan, and affordable housing agreement. <br />These are summarized below and are described fully in the attached Planning <br />Commission staff report. <br />General Plan Amendment <br />The General Plan Land Use Designation for the site would be changed to add "High <br />Density Residential" ("HDR") to the existing "Retail/Highway/Service Commercial; <br />Business and Professional Offices" designation. <br />PUD Rezoning <br />The current zoning for the property is Planned Unit Development -Commercial-Office <br />(PUD-C-O) District. The property would be rezoned to Planned Unit Development - <br />High Density Residential/Commercial (PUD-HDR/C) District to allow the mixed-use <br />project. Allowed uses would also be established for the site (see condition #2 and <br />Exhibit C) as part of the PUD. <br />Page 4 of 9 <br />
