56. The applicant shall reimburse the Safeway Corporation their pro-rata share of the <br />sidewalk installed across the Stoneridge Mall Road project frontage. Said pro- <br />rata share shall be paid prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br />Construction Requirements <br />57. All construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., <br />Monday through Saturday. In addition, no construction shall be allowed on <br />Federal or State Holidays and the applicant shall create a modified construction <br />schedule to mitigate any disruptions or conflicts caused by construction activities <br />during the busy Holiday shopping periods (i.e., the day after Thanksgiving and <br />the two weeks before and after December 25th). The modified construction <br />schedule shall be subject to review and approval by the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development. The applicant shall post and maintain a sign at the <br />entrance to the site with the approved days and hours of construction as <br />notification to all job site workers. All construction equipment must meet <br />Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) noise standards and shall be equipped with <br />muffling devices. <br />58. A construction trailer shall be allowed to be placed on the project site for daily <br />administration/coordination purposes during the construction period. At no time <br />shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or <br />sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed <br />from the site at the end of each workday. <br />59. Dust and mud shall be contained within the boundaries of the property during <br />times of construction. The project developer shall submit a dust control plan or <br />procedure as part of the improvement plans. <br />60. The project developer shall submit a waste generation disposal and diversion <br />plan to the Planning Division prior to construction. The plan shall include the <br />estimated composition and quantities of waste to be generated and how the <br />project developer shall recycle at least fifty percent (50%) of the job site <br />construction and demolition waste. Proof of compliance shall be provided to the <br />Director of Planning and Community Development prior to final inspection. <br />During demolition and construction, the project developer shall mark all trash <br />disposal bins "trash materials only" and all recycling bins "recycling materials <br />only." The project developer shall contact Pleasanton Garbage Service for all <br />waste disposal. Only that portion of trash and recycling waste refused by <br />Pleasanton Garbage Service shall be disposed of or diverted by another <br />trash/recycling company. <br />61. If grading or tree removal is to occur during the raptor-nesting season <br />(February 1 to August 31), a focused survey for raptor nests shall be conducted <br />by a qualified biologist during the nesting season. The survey shall be conducted <br />no less than 14 days and no more than 30 days prior to the beginning of grading <br />9 <br />
